| 抄録: | This paper examines what constitutes the “Israel lobby” in Germany.
It focuses first of all on defense industry lobbyists, reflecting the deepening military cooperation between Germany and Israel. It then examines in detail the lobby group ELNET, which is known to invite politicians and journalists on trips to Israel. The two sections that follow address the Federal Anti-Semitism Commissioner and another lobby organization, both of which have worked with ELNET to secure the adoption of parliamentary resolutions condemning the boycott movement against Israel. The paper then turns to the German-Israeli
Association, anti-Semitism commissioners of federal states, and the Central Council of Jews in Germany. The section that follows reveals how monitoring and education projects concerning anti-Semitism, hate speech, and conspiracy theories, funded by federal and state governments as well as private foundations, have evolved into what is termed a “censorship-industrial complex.” The paper further examines statefunded anti-Semitism monitoring and research institutions and the scholars involved with them. The last section provides a detailed look at the ELNET Award ceremony, a prominent gathering of the Israel lobby in Germany. |
